James Brown is an American anchor and reporter working at WHIO-TV serving as the anchor of the 5 pm, 5:30 pm, 6 pm, and 11 pm newscasts.

He previously worked for KTUU-TV where he served as an anchor from 2000 to 2002; WXOO-TV where he served as an anchor and reporter from March 1997 to April 2000. Prior to his tenure at WXII-TV, he had previously worked for WRDW-TV where he served as an anchor from 1994 to 1995.
