Hemendra Prasad Barooah (Assamese: হেমেন্দ্ৰ প্ৰসাদ বৰুৱা, romanized: Hemendra Prosad Boruwa) (April 1, 1926 – July 31, 2013), was an Indian entrepreneur, tea planter and philanthropist[1] known for his contributions to Assam tea and tourism industries.
