Having operated since the late 1960s as Haus-Rucker-Co and since 1992 as Ortner & Ortner, we have amassed a personal history of art and a great volume of pictures, models, and other materials that simply need space.

Haus-Rucker-Co - Spatial Agency

There are over 1,000 drawings and designs from the Haus-Rucker-Co period alone, and at least as many from the O&O era up to now. These things deserve to be seen. We want to exhibit them and, in some select cases, put them up for sale. This is what the Depot is for. And we also want to turn the Depot into a laboratory in which we can continue to test the materials from which architecture—building art—can be created.

While we don’t want to let details about our future exhibitions and events out of the bag quite yet, we can say that the juxtaposition of the everyday and usual with clunky and puzzling things that emerge adjacently will be the root of our explorations.
